The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society (ACMS)

An evening of irreverent comedy!

A crucible in which we will forge comedy’s golden future, and literal GOOD GIG, hosted by Thom Tuck, John-Luke Roberts and starring other ACMS favourites: Alexis Dubus, Ben Target, Colt Cabana, Joz Norris, Sophie Duker and Yuriko Kotani.

Captain Cauliflower: An Online Interactive Adventure


Saturday 8th August: 2pm


Get ready to fly with the mighty Captain Cauliflower as he zooms across the internet to defeat his arch nemesis the odorous Onion Man. Following a sold-out show at last year's Attic Arts Club, the award-winning theatre company Mad Etiquette return with a new online superhero adventure. An interactive comedy show for children 3 to 8 to enjoy from the comfort of their own homes.

I Need to Cher presents One Night in Cher

Despite being in locked in your own home - are you stressed?

Do you need to unwind? Are you blue as a girl can be?


Join the world's leading immersive feminist cabaret Cher night, I Need to Cher, for One Night in Cher, a cosmic journey in to some pop-goddess-level chilling. Cher has worked and played hard throughout her six decade career, but she relaxes even harder.


Presented by Cher expect the Ghost of Sonny Bono, a snapshot of Mamma Mia 3 and glimpses of the best queer Cher cabaret that lockdown London has to offer. Join us for a relaxing Cher-montage-to-music which will havee you singing Believe on your sofa, drinking wine and donning a face mask. I Need to Cher guarantee that this show will have you believing in life after lock down!

Alan's reading of 'The Gruffalo' on YouTube has become an internet sensation, attracting over 3m viewers !


Come join us for storytime and see him read some of his other favourite stories for under-5s, including The Book With No Pictures and Lottie Potter wants an Otter!


with Story Craft Theatre


Sunday 9th August: 2pm


Monty loves inventing, but things don't always work. After he finds a rare book things get pretty hairy...and slobbery ...and dusty!!!!


Come and join Cassie from Story Craft Theatre for some action packed craft making and storytelling fun based on the wonderful book Monstersaurus by Claire Freedman and illustrated by Ben Cort.

The session kicks off with hellos and the Crafty Tales song. Then it's time to make your very own Crafty Monster. This will be all made together and you'll need a few simple bits of crafting material to do so. Cassie will go through the instructions, step by step and will be there to support you. Once everyone has completed their craft it's time for the interactive story which includes songs, games, dancing and more!


The session runs at 50min and aimed for 2-6 year olds . . but all are welcome!

Sh!t Theatre

Sh!t Theatre are Rebecca Biscuit and Louise Mothersole. They have been writing, performing and drinking together since May 2010. They've toured to some places and won some awards and they f***ing love Dolly Parton.


They are the makers of cult hits Women's Hour, Letters to Windsor House, DollyWould, Sh!t Actually & Sh!t Theatre Drink Rum With Expats.


2020 is their 10 year anniversary!
